We started on Etsy with a laser cutter and a big idea
What began as a side project — engraving a few gifts for friends and family — quickly turned into something we couldn't stop thinking about. People kept coming back, telling us their dad actually uses the hammer we engraved, or that the bookmark brought someone to tears.
That feedback is why we do what we do. We're not a factory. We're based in Lara, Victoria, and we genuinely love making things. Every piece that leaves our bench has been cut, engraved, printed, checked, and packaged by hand.
After 6,086+ orders and a 4.9-star rating across 841 reviews on Etsy, we decided to build our own home at etchedlaserlab.com.au — so we could do things on our own terms and build an even closer relationship with our customers.

Place your order and enter your custom text or design details. We confirm receipt by email, usually within a few hours.
We Design & Preview
Our in-house design software generates a layout. For complex orders, we'll send a digital proof before cutting.
Crafted by Hand
Depending on the product, we use laser engraving, UV printing, vinyl cutting, CNC routing, or 3D printing. Each piece is hand-checked for quality — engraving depth, colour accuracy, alignment, and finish.
Packaged & Shipped
We pack every order with care — often with a handwritten note. Then it's off to you, typically within 2–3 business days.
